Hello! My name is Amy Haskell, I have two children 8 and 14. My youngest son is in first grade. I am currently
involved in a reading program at my youngest son's school. Rockin Readers is a elementary reading program which allows students
to earn points. Each child must read a book that has an apple on the spine and pass a ten question quiz on the computer.
After the children have reached diffrent goals they are awarded diffrent prizes. Some of which are hat day and wear
you pj's to school. At the end of the year each child that has reached the goal level for their class will recieve either
a gold, silver, or bronze medal.
Rockin Readers is a great program and it also is a fun way that children can practice their reading skills. I really
enjoy helping with reading and hope that more moms will want to get involved.
